SIMANGAMBAT — Three students from Pesantren Andalusia Islamic Boarding School have once again brought immense pride to their institution through an outstanding achievement. The three exemplary students were officially selected to join the Flag-Raising Squad (Pasukan Pengibar Bendera or Paskibra) at the Simangambat District level in celebration of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.
The three students chosen for this honor are Aflah Syawalun Nizam Hasibuan, Hatimbulanuddin Nasution, and Prayoga. They were entrusted to join the elite squad responsible for carrying out the flag-raising duties during the series of Independence Day commemoration ceremonies in Simangambat District.
The selection of these three students serves as a point of pride for the entire Pesantren Andalusia family. This milestone demonstrates that students at the Islamic boarding school receive not only religious and academic instruction, but also ample opportunities to hone leadership skills, discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and active community participation.
As members of the Paskibra squad, Aflah, Hatimbulanuddin, and Prayoga were required to undergo rigorous preparation and intense training regimes. The systematic training programs play a crucial role in building physical endurance, drill precision, synchronization, mental fortitude, and a strong sense of duty in executing the honorable task of hoisting the sacred Merah Putih flag.
The participation of these three Islamic boarding school students in the Simangambat District Paskibra squad also marks an important momentum in instilling patriotism and love for the homeland. These core nationalistic values align seamlessly with the character education principles continuously integrated into the students’ daily routines at the boarding school.
